There's More Beneath The Surface

I have had encounters with people, family, and friends that throw me off sometime. I can remember growing up my mom being in a somber mood sometimes when I got up. I often wondered what I did to make her feel that way. Or I would come into work and speak cheerfully to a co-worker and they barely opened their mouth. Or I have spoken to someone passing by on the street and get no response at all. All this to say my vista could have been wrong. My view could have been distorted. I may not have known that my mother had had words with my dad. I could not have known that my co-worker was getting evicted. I surely had no idea that the person I spoke to on the street had just gotten harassed by the police unnecessarily. So next time you encounter someone who seems to be sad, angry, upset, there very well may be a back story. It may not have to do with you at all. Pray for them a genuine prayer:Luke 11:1-13 Father I pray in your name to give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, and we need to also forgive everyone who sins against us. Lead us not into temptation. For you (God) are our rock and our fortress Amen!
