Mental Stress Relief

Our bodies and minds are built like no other on earth. We seem to be at the top of the chain of the living creatures that occupy this planet. Our mind and bodies work hard to maintain that statis on the most part. We do however, need to relax. We need some down time. If you can remember the human being hunted and gathered food back in the day. We have replaced that function with high tech activity. Our hunting and gathering skills have gone by the way side. We seek out physical activity. Working out. Playing with our children. But the basics of the hunting and gathering process seems to have been supressed which in my opinion leads to more stress. In order to calm our bodies we need to succintly calm our minds. Our minds need to be in an environment that allows us to pray, to meditate, to be free of clutter. On those days filled with stress and strain stop, drop and pray. Meditate on God's word. Take time out for that mental stress relief. Pick up that bible and let it fall on any page read a verse or two. And thank God for all that you have and all that you will be. Amen.
