It is something that we ask ourselves everyday. "Did he or she just say that?" "Did they mean to do that?" "I know she just did not write that email" With these questions and or conclusions we draw on our value system. We naturally respond defensively because our hearts would not have the intention of hurting another or would we? I had a discussion the other day and in this particular part of the conversation it was said to me, when I think, I think in black and white. The only way I see things any different is when someone that I trust talks to me and makes me see another way. I think about it and wa la I understand what the intention of another could be. I find in life if we in the natural react to what we see first it often times gets misconstrued. If we just take a minute and think what would God think or do? It may give us some time to see that the intention of another can be selfish. Or the intention wasn't what you thought at all. Or that person thought they were doing their best. Intention is the key but we fall down and God and no other picks all of us up.We have to pray for those with cruel and bad intention on the other hand be patient with the ones that have good intentions but questionable communications skills. Nahum 1:3 The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, and the LORD will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
