I do not know how many times it has been that I have asked for God's help to get me through something and I jump up and take it back. For many of us this is a simple but difficult thing to do. This again is where our faith get's tested. We have to trust and believe that the Lord wants the best for us. If we ask him to move the mountain, let him move it. What tends to happen with us is that we get impatient. We think the mountain should be moved when we want it moved. It does not work that way. God moves on God's time and this is due in fact to us needing to take note on the teaching moments. Jesus being the teacher of many, spoke in parables so that we can understand the lesson much better. Matthew 13:10-14 The disciples came and said to Jesus,“Why do you speak to the people in parables?” He answered and said to the disciples, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. So Jesus gave the lessons needed for them to understand how God works. What his expectations were. So once you give something to God, don't take it back. Let go and Let God.
