There Is No Doubt

When it comes to it there is no doubt that God is who he is. Can you imagine the confidence it took to slay a giant? Can you imagine the faith it took to survive the heat of an oven? How about the strength it took to lose everything you owned and lay dying from hellish ailments? In all of these instances the Lord our redeemer had a bigger plan. The underlying lesson in it all is to never question or lose faith in him.
Romans 5:1-2Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

New Beginnings

Before Adam & Eve ate from the tree of knowledge, imagine their day. It never ended. They did not want for anything. God provided their every need. Until the most famous temptation in history took place. Once their dependency on God ended, they were forced to a new beginning. In our world today through Jesus Christ we all can experience a new beginning. Know and Love God, yourself and your fellow man. Do not harbor hate or ill will towards anyone. Begin each day with a newness. A freshness. A confidence that all your needs will be met. Just ask.
Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Do Not Speak Of Lack

There are many occasion where what you say may seem innocent. For example: "Oh I know I will never get a chance" or " I cannot see myself in that". These are blessing blocking statements. How can you know what God has in store for you? There is nothing impossible for God. What we have to practice is stop self defeating ourselves. Pray every day for God to answer your prayers.
You say: "I can't do it"
God says: You can do all things
(Philippians 4:13)
You say: "I'm not able"
God says: I am able
(II Corinthians 9:8)
You say: "It's not worth it"
God says: It will be worth it
(Roman 8:2)

Chose Or Lose

It is that simple. No question that there is more to life than just being on this earth walking around in our on selfish presence. Jesus walked this earth over two thousand years ago, teaching the truth. We have the choice now to read, to acknowledge and try our best to understand his teachings. God used to talk to man directly. It is done now through the words written in the bible and through the spiritual blessings felt by many. At this point existence is one of two ways through Christ or the enemy. You have a choice. Believe me when I say you will know the difference. Acts 16:31 They(the disciples) replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household."

Does This Suit You?

If you go through life with the mind set that you have everything to gain because you do you the best. Read this next sentence, taken from the book of wisdom in the Bible.Proverbs 1:19 Such is the end of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the lives of those who get it. Does this lifestyle suit you? Do gaining things materialistically satisfy that hunger and thirst? When you continually want, and need but already have, it is greediness. Do not get it wrong. Blessings are given. Material things are to be had. But the big big difference when you are blessed with something is to realize just that. It is a blessing. Your gain does not have to be. Show some gratitude. Thank God. So yes your gain will suit you if you remember where it came from.

Be Aware Of Wolves In Sheep Clothing

More often then not people are genuine. They are sympathetic, empathetic and morally capable of showing so. However, every now and then the enemy uses people to do otherwise. Be it smiling in your face and stabbing you in the back. Be it ugliness behind closed doors. Be it just being mean and envious. These types of people should be avoided. If you are in the position where you have no choice, (and this is very very important) do not fall into the trap with them. Get to your bible, your phone or a good friend that can bring you back to God. Because it is very easy to get caught up in some mess. And you will recognize that it is mess, if you walk away angry, sad or upset, and the person causing all of this is proceeding as if nothing happened or is about to happen. No! Matthew 16:23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."

Ask For Strength From God

There are several times in the Book of Psalms that David cries out to God to save him. In this one particular Psalm, David gives us the reader a vivid picture of the pain he is experiencing. At times he was his own worst enemy. He had men who were trying to kill him. He had lust issues. His wives were turning on each other. His children were fighting among themselves and committing unholy sins. So in these two verses it just about raps it up for David. He can go no where else. When you read these verses, think of those times when you say to yourself enough is enough. I need some help. Psalms 69:13-15 But I pray to you, LORD,  in the time of your favor; in your great love, O God,  answer me with your sure salvation.  Rescue me from the mire,   do not let me sink; deliver me from those who hate me,  from the deep waters.

Don't Let God Be A Fleeting Thought

There are some who have become so used to retrieving information instantaneously, anything short of that is lost. To know and love God takes more then a nine second attention span. God is with us through out our lives, weather we choose to accept it or not. The loving of oneself, fellow man and God all come under the same umbrella. The umbrella is meant to serve and protect us from ourselves. Time in this case is on our side. Take the time out of your day to think on your habits. Think on how you come across to God. He does see all. Stay humble, forgiving and loving. And yes, it does take some time out of your day to follow these simple but awesome ways. Take mental note that you can never get time back. Do the right thing with such a precious commodity.
You say: "It's impossible"
God Says: All things are possible (Luke 18:27)

You say: "I'm too tired"
God Says: I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28-30)

You say: "Nobody really loves me"
God Says: I Love you (John 3:16 & John 13:34)

You say: "I can't go on"
God Says: My grace is sufficient (II Cor. 12:9 & Psalm 91:15)

The Following Of Jesus

The new testament of the Bible holds many a question. Most notably when it comes to  Jesus and how he ran things in his day. There is the mystery of his mere conception.  Scholars have been studying for centuries. There is the gap in time from his infancy to his adulthood. There is the question of why Jesus when he performed miracles, healed the sick and released demons that he asked of that person or persons do not mention this. There are the questions of why he died in the manner that he did especially if he was deemed the king of the Jews. Yes the following of Jesus the man was very interesting. What we must remember is that God knew this all would come to light then and now three thousand years later. Once you as the reader of the New Testament step back and really look into it. Ponder. You begin to see the relevance  of life today. And ask yourself does it matter that Mary had Jesus in the manner that she did? And many more questions. The answer is Yes. These questions make us think. Allow us to understand what it was people were going through. And still are. And what God has in store for us. Pray for understanding.
Proverbs 2:10-11  for wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; discretion will watch over you, understanding will guard you.

Let Us Sing Praises

We often times find ourselves humming to a song we hear on the radio. Or singing our favorite song in the shower. Which is wonderful and brings joy to our hearts. It is a sign that we are happy. We can take that happiness a few steps further. We can get in the habit to just say thank you Lord every time a good deed happens. Or praise his name with a song, a shout, a prayer. And just like humming or singing makes us happy, this makes God happy. Psalm 69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving.

Trust In The Lord With All Of Your Heart

There are so many on this earth today that think it is all of them and their efforts that make their days. And that is fine if those that do, don't mind going through changes every single day.And Yes, it is bold to say that with God in your life, those stresses and strains are minimal. There is a higher power then us. And part of being in this world today we must trust in the Lord with all of our hearts. Evil and enemy forces are fighting back just as much as God is fighting to keep our souls. We must remember from where our spiritual paycheck comes.

1 John 1:1-10

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life— the life was made manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made manifest to us— that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete. This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

The Unseen Can Be Seen

Have you ever wondered to yourself, why is all of this happening now? Is God trying to show me something? Is the enemy showing me the dark side and God is allowing me to see what could be? This happens everyday. It is up to us to recognize the distractions. The confusion placed in our sights to get us to question our faith. To have us doubting that we are Gods child. When these things take place. Shout out "Devil you are not going to steal my joy". You may find yourself running for refuge, saying quietly to God, thank you for loving me and getting me through this. The key is to recognize the unseen being seen. It does not happen haphazardly. No it  does not. Often times it comes upon us through loved ones. Or people in your place of work, school or business. Just understand it is a constant battle. The enemy wants our soul just as bad as God does.

Psalms 61:3 God you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me.

To What Do We Owe?

In the biblical days the people centered their existence around the rulers of the day. Be it high priest, king, etc. There was no religion per say. There were the believers of God. There were the believers of the priest. Believers in the rulers of the day. Until Jesus came along. He challenged many things. The priest and their rituals. The Roman Empire. Imagine if we had Jesus in our world today?Challenging the rituals, the politics, the treatment of mankind? Healing  the sick. Feeding the masses. He would be labeled a "terrorist" and "eccentric". He would not be considered the saviour of men.  It would be shameful, his treatment. So the question, To What Do We Owe? Should be re-written. To Whom Do We Owe? Jesus died for us. God allowed his son to come, challenge and teach the way to righteousness. Not based on the rulers of the day. Not based on how big your temple, church or synagogue is. Not based on rituals. We need to remember the reason Jesus was brought into our lives and thank God everyday.

Higher Than I

When we really look at life, we must come to the conclusion that there is a force much Higher then oneself. There is no way man could have made the heavens and earth. There is no way science can explain away every single thing that happens in our daily lives. Yes we are advanced thinkers. Yes we have made significant technological strides. No doubt. But when it comes to miracles. When it comes to that intuition. When things happen in your life for the good, and you cannot explain it. Know in your heart of hearts it is not you, nor science. It is God. Pray that you understand this. Know that prayer shows God that you understand.

Psalm 62:11 Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this:
that power belongs to God.

If There Ain't No Beauty You Have To Make Some Beauty

This world has so many challenges. So many crooks and crannies. So many edges. Which can make everyday living something to contend with. But if we wake everyday, grateful to be alive. We can humbly say to ourselves, what ever comes before me today, I will call on God and I will do my very best to take on life. And if there isn't any beauty you have the capability to make some beauty. Yes you. God is the creator of the universe. You are the creator of your actions and reactions. If someone is having a bad day, don't make it worst by thinking (and believe me your body language can show this), well I'm having a bad day too. Take the higher road.

Galatians 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Do Not Let Your Love Never Waiver

We as human beings have so many choices that we can make thousands a time a day. Thousands of time a life time truth be told. Some choices are safe and get us through. However there are some choices that are questionable. These may be made during times of undue circumstance. What is needed when making choices, is the covering of Jesus. We need to  pray. We cannot do this (life) alone. Anyone who thinks they can has a tremendous burden on their shoulders. Why not lift that burden? Especially when choices have to be made.Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart . Our God's love for us never waivers. He knows us well. Get to know God well. And do not let your love for him ever waiver.

It's A New Day

No matter how your day starts, good, bad or indifferent. When you pay homage to the all mighty God, it is recognized. Just keep that in mind. Anytime, any place. Give God the praise. It not only allows him to see you showing your faith, but it makes you feel so much better. Oh yes, if there is anyone you can count on it is GOD. Just remember he may not come when you want him, but he is always right on time.

Remember What God Has Done For You

Joshua 1:7-8 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.  Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Proverbs 3:5, Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
When all else fails, when those down times are really down times. Come here to the words above. Live them. Clear the clouds away. Take the tears away. And just remember what God has really done for you.

Not Everything Is Genuine

Today you can buy a knock off (fake) designer this or that. You can buy an expensive car with fake parts inside. You can buy bootleg movies. The list goes on and on.  You have disingenuous churches, religions and pastors. You have school teachers and parents doing crazy things. Each previously mentioned is NOT GENUINE. There is an old saying "you get what you pay for". God is GENUINE. There is nothing fake about him at all. Pick up the lesson book(the bible) read some of the stories that tell of men and women just like us today. Be aware that fake and phony are short cuts. Life(real life) is not about short cuts. Stand firm and in faith and learn from each and every experience. There is a reason. Isaiah 55:89For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Children Are A Heritage From The Lord

Psalms 127:3 Behold children are a heritage from the lord. The fruit of the womb is a reward. When I read this I cannot help thinking of parents who bestow hurt or death to someone as precious as a child. It is the most wicked, cruel thing the enemy can do. Children do not ask to come into this world. The thing is when they do, they deserve love.  Most do their very best to raise their children the best that they know how. And that is commendable. God sees you through this. But the unclean spirits that have their hold on these innocents is an abomination. In our world today, there are environmental (chemicals in the air, and water)causes for imbalance. There are physical causes(homelessness, joblessness) for imbalance. There is no excuse however, for cruel and unusual punishment. Some have suffered and have lived through it. The thing to remember as tough as it is. God has a plan for you. Stay strong. Reach back and help those crying out. Do not ignore the signs. Because the enemy cannot keep it hidden. All things in the dark will be brought to the light. Amen

The Triple H Club Have I Paid My Dues?

In life most of us experience a point or two when we have been Humble or Humbled. We have also been a partaker of Humility. We may not have had a choice but we still experienced it. The third part of the H club is one many struggle with. That is Help. Our society has become so anesthetized. We ignore so much. We remove our selves from situations all of the time. This is where we need to use the other two H's Humble and Humility and apply them to reaching out to fellow man. To become a member totally. To Help. Yes, once you have experienced these things, you have paid your dues. You are officially a member of the Triple H club. Philippians 2:3-11

Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men

To The Trained Eye

Our demeanor shows the outside world what we are. Yes, to the trained eye, everything looks like it may be going well. Oh yes, nice car. Nice home. Wife or husband looking good. But the trained eye can be fooled. There are many many things that could be hidden. Some very tragic. Some very disheartening. This is where the real trained eye comes into play. God's trained eye. We have to call, shout, scream on him and his army of angels. There are times when the enemy has a hold so tough you just want to give up. Please call on the Lord. David in the Bible went through some stuff. He was so perplexed he wrote the book of Psalms calling on God to intervene. So what we as man go through has been gone through before. Do not give in or up. Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Do Not Let Earthly Things Get The Best Of You

Proverbs 1:19 and 15:27So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain; it takes away the life of its owners. He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house.
This is the trap of many. God does not say we should not have things. We are afforded material things if we have earned them out right. What we cannot fall into is think we are entitled. That someone owes us. Or even yet keep taking, not satisfied with just our portion. You may see someone walk by and their hand was in their pocket. When they pass you notice a hundred dollar bill on the ground. There should be no question as to what you should do. You may think no one will know or see. But God sees all. And as the old saying goes, God does not like ugly. Meaning he does not want you to do the wrong thing. Pray for salvation. Pray for graciousness. And pray for forgiveness and mercy. We are human. We make mistakes. We can also chose to not make them as well.

We Are What We Eat

Through our lives we have been "trained" to eat food for our nourishment.  And yes our bodily function relies on food to survive. However if a body ingest fat, sugar and starch. The body over time breaks down.  If one treats the body with respect and ingest, organically grown fruits, vegetables and unprocessed meats including fish, then our bodies function much better. We must not forget exercise. We have to remember that not so many years ago, man hunted for food(exercise). Man only gathered what was needed to survive. This is the physical. We also need to provide nourishment to our mind and our souls. With all of the distraction this can be very hard to achieve. When some look at the world through despair  and hopeless eyes giving up and in to the defeat seems easy. I say not. The human spirit has a built in safety mechanism. It is called will. We have the will to surround ourselves with joy. We have the will to not give up. We have the will to reach out. We have the will to not be broken. God helps us with this. So yes, we are what we eat both physically and spiritually.

2 Peter 1: 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity."

Life's Encouragement

How does one get here?Get to this encouraging point. It begins with loving and caring for oneself. If you are comfortable from within. You can feel comfortable giving out. Jesus encouraged the masses and his disciples. He could not have done so, if he felt at all uncomfortable with himself and with his relationship with God. Pick up the Bible, it is all encouraging.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly equipped to perform every good work.

Teach Me O Lord

Psalms119 has one hundred and seventy six verses. I would be fair to say that this writer was on one for God this day. In reading these verses I get it. The writer says in verse 33: Teach me O Lord The Way Of Your Statues. And goes onto say in 65 and 66 Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments. This Psalm of David says to the reader. I have been there and back. God you have seen me on my good days and my bad days. I want to learn all that you have for me. And please know that I know there are those that say bad things about me. I cannot change that. But I can ask for your protection God while I am learning your laws. Your ways. Your righteousness. When facing everyday stress and strife flip to this Psalm. You will find similarities to today's issues.

Almost There

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you knowest not.
This is a pretty basic request. However we tend to pick up our own task, worries, etc, and try to control it our selves. The easiest thing to do is what God ask. We make it complicated. The next time you are faced with a mighty challenge or even a small challenge. Look to God and say, Lord I am almost there. I  truly honor you with the praise you deserve. I seek you in my times of trouble. Lord send your angels before me. I receive you and have faith that you O Lord will see me through. This I pray in the mighty name of Jesus.Amen
