Proverbs 15:7 The lips of the wise disperse knowledge, but the heart of the fool does not do so. The Internet, the television, the radio, can be full of misinformation. As a wise and thoughtful person you have to pray for discernment. Not all things you see or hear are meant for your good. Back in the days of the early Christians, lessons, stories and words of wisdom traveled by mouth. Information took days sometimes years to get to the next village or town. By this time the original story was told it most definitely had been embellished. After the time of Jesus, some four hundred years or so. The spreaders of Christianity wrote letters to different countries explaining who God was and the ways in which the everyday man or woman had the same right as a priest, or elite person to worship and be accepted of God. The peoples of these outlying countries had to discern the basic wisdom from the rhetoric. They had to decide for themselves what the true meaning of what was being told to them is. God took care of that and he still does. Listen to that inner voice. Seek out the wisdom. Do not tarry behind a fool.
