Some How The Right And Wrong Of Things Have Become Clouded

As much as God has tried through prophets, through civilizations, through teachings to show us lowly humans the difference between right and wrong. And here's the ultimate kicker, he sent his son knowing what the "rock stars" of the day were going to do to him to earth anyway. *Rock Stars equal Pharisees, and High Priest. The Passion of the Christ does not have great and glorious connotations to it. The passion of Christ actually means the suffering and humiliation that he endured as they were putting him to death. My question to some in today's society is this, what is wrong with humiliation? Humbleness? Why do things (protest, war, hunger, homelessness) have to take on the somebody else is wrong, not me connotation? The I am superior type situation? There are people who really and truly believe their way is right and if it isn't I am going to make you see that it is(right). Again I say humility, humbleness and unconditional love have lost it's footing.
Colossians 3:12
And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

And God's Word Was Spread At A Very High Price

You know if you think about it, what a heavy burden it must have been to go up against the rock stars of the day. These in ancient times were the Pharisee, the Sadduccees and the high priest. That would be like going up against the President, Oprah, and Joel Osteen, TD Jakes of the day. So you have Jesus who really lets all of these guys know that the laws that were written cannot be upheld by all the people all of the time. That through him(Jesus) men & women will be able to follow the law the best way they could. And if they falter, all would be forgiven through him, because he is the son of God and that was his mission. After Jesus was killed, his disciples had the daunting task of continuing his teachings, performing miracles and receiving harsh punishments for mentioning Jesus name in their teachings. But through it all God's word prevailed and it is still taught today some three thousand years later.

Ephesians 1:13-14 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

The Mouth Speaks What The Heart Is Full Of

It is so simple yet so difficult for some, to realize that the heart is the place one's intention lies. If you truly love something or have passion for you will do it much better. When you speak with love in your heart, you speak kindly. Yes, we make mistakes, but our heart and our intention is seen by God. So make it good intention. Make it good from the heart. Matthew 12:33-37 Make a tree good and its fruit will be good. Make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.  You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.  A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him. An evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.  But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.  For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.

Are You Sowing The Good Seed Or Seed Of The Tares?

Matthew 13:37-43 He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.The field is the world. The good seed is the sons of the kingdom. But the Tares are the sons of the evil one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age, and the angels are the reapers.
Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.  The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,  and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
These words and verses are so apparent. So clear. If we are not careful (those who have little faith) will get caught up in the spreading of the bad seed and not recognize when that good seed stands before them. Boy will this day be an eye opener.

We Have Come This Far By Faith Didn't You Know?

As I have stated so many times. There are some that think their everyday lives are based on science and statistics. I say okay, yes those are quantitative measuring tools only. The key to it all is this. Spirituality is not measured by mans standards. Belief and faith come from the heart and soul. There are no guidelines for that. I often wonder why some question this. God gave us so many things as a human being. There are no other on this planet like us. But he cannot make those who question, those who do not believe the template to do so. You see he gave us choice.
Lamentations 3: 22-23
It is because of the Lord's mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because God's tender compassion's fail not. They are new every morning; great and abundant is your stability and faithfulness.

Almighty God You Have My Life In The Palm Of Your Hand

It is so profound to realize that we do not control our lives. Some of may think so. Some take seconds of time trying to do so,(control their lives) . And sometimes have the silly notion that they are controlling others. Not so. In the grand scheme of things our lives on this earth is very minuscule compared to "Life". This planet is full of it. Man doesn't control it. As much as he wants to, as much as he destroys it. No the control lies else where. What we have to do each day is realize who really does have the effect man wants to have on himself is. God. He wakes us everyday. He knows our hearts, our wants our desires. Everything. I have to remind myself of David, when he prayed and he did humbly on many occasions. Psalms 140:6 O LORD, I say to you, "You are my God." Hear, O LORD, my cry for mercy. Psalms 118:28 You are my God, and I will give you thanks; you are my God, and I will exalt you.

Consider The Work Of God

Ecclesiastes 7:11-14 Wisdom, like an inheritance, is a good thing  and benefits those who see the sun. Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this:Wisdom preserves those who have it. Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked?  In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

I chose these verses today because they say it all. How can we not live without wisdom. Followed by understanding. And to have both it is the work of the most high. Our Almighty God.

The Almighty Power & Presence Of God

Just when we get settled in with our everyday lives. God shows by example what a mighty power he possess'. When nature takes it's course (which many of us have been blessed to live through), all we can do is pray and say thank you lord for this not being my final day. I know Lord you have power and dominion over all. Now the worldly person will say "oh it's all scientific and can be explained" Okay, if that is your belief, so be it. Genesis 19:24 Then the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the LORD out of heaven.

The Temple Has Been Destroyed

The "temple" has been physically destroyed twice already. The first time by the Babylonians. The second by the Romans. It is said that there will be a third destruction of the "temple" which could mean the destroying of this world as we know it. False religions, Fake preachers, sinful people proposing to lead the sheep. It is hard to say when and how this will happen. But there is a lot of evil out there. We have to really stay in the body of Christ and true to his teachings. Because according to the Gospel it is he who returns at the end.  Matthew 24:5 Many will come in my name, claiming that "I am the Messiah" They will deceive many. Revelation 19:12 describes Jesus return during end times.  His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.

Tough Times The Devil Is Busy

Corinthians 4: 8-9 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed. Perplexed, but not in despair. Persecuted, but not abandoned. Struck down, but not destroyed.

You read the headlines and the you cannot help but think on these very words. The question of why? Comes to mind. The question of how? Comes to mind. When we see tragedies we tend to hold our love ones closer. We take extra precautions. We are vigilant for awhile. Then some other evil person does something else crazy. The thing to remember EVIL does not look like the stereotypical depiction in the movies. Every time I see crazy stuff that happens, the person looks like your average everyday person. We need to realize that. Stop giving the devil a pass. Somebody knew or saw this guy buy/order all the stuff he ordered be it on the Internet or physically from a store. Because he did not look "suspicious" he was given a pass. Yet a kid coming home from a store with skittles and a soda is shot for nothing. So let's get this right, the devil is busy and he is using everyday average people to do his dirty work.

God Never Ceases To Amaze Me

Just when you think that you are down and out for the count, here God comes. He may not come when YOU want him, but he always comes right on time. I totally believe that when doubt takes a seat beside us, we crumble. But if we keep our faith and understand the forces that come against us, we know what to do to recover.  As I have said so many times before spiritual warfare is something else. And it comes by way of people, places and things. Stand strong. Stay in faith and pray from your soul all the time every day and every night.

                                           Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble

                                              Isaiah 46:9
I am God, and there is none like me,
declaring the end from the beginning
and from ancient times things not yet done.

Was It A Crime?

In the book of John you have Jesus in the city of Jerusalem walking around speaking to and healing the sick. On this one particular occasion, he came upon a man laying next to the healing pool called Bethesda. He asked the man why he was lying there and not entering the pool like the others. The man said that he was too weak to move and that many just walk past him as he lay dying. Jesus said to him pick up your bed an walk. The man was made well and he walked. On his way (the man) back to the main city the Jewish priest asked him " hey sir were you just healed on this sabbath day"? The man said yes. The Jewish priest said don't you know that this is against our laws? Who did this to you? The man did not know the name of the man who healed him. That made them so angry. Later on in the day the man was walking around in the "temple" and saw Jesus, and Jesus said to the man"see you have been made well, sin no more or a worse thing will come upon you. The man ran back to the Jewish priest and told them who the man was that healed him. "His name was Jesus" The priest had a vendetta out on Jesus then. Because in their minds Jesus broke the law which was no healing, no working and a bunch of other stuff was not permitted on this day (Sunday). But Jesus said in his defense, My father has been working until now, and I am working now. Boy did that open up a can of worms. How dare he say that he(Jesus) is God? The rest is history. Imagine if we had to follow such strict and ridiculous laws now? Jesus stood up to their hypocritical laws and made it much simpler for the everyday man. Through Jesus Christ we are all saved.

The Word Must Be Spread

During the times of the old testament most of the stories relating to God and his laws were kept among the "chosen" people. When Jesus came along the word of God was shared among all people. When he died it (the word ) was still carried on by the disciples. And by Paul who had the task of going to far off lands dangerously so, in fact it cost him his life. The point is that there is something mighty and powerful in Gods words. All of these men who laid down their lives to pass it on knew that and made sure that it was written for generations to see. God wants us to know what is expected of us. He wants us to see that there have been those before us that experienced some of the same things we have and are going to continue to. Ephesians 2:11-13 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)  Remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.  But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Doing The Right Thing

There are so many things in this world that have us on the brink of going against our ethics. But the nice thing is that when we get to this point we can call on our Lord and Savior to help us through this. God knows our day to day dilemma's

                                            Psalm 139:1-6
O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.

You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.

Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.

You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.

  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it.

He Has Told You What Is Good

Micah 6:8 He has told you O mortal what is good and what does the Lord require of you. But to do justice and to love kindness and walk humbly with you God.

Boy oh Boy does this resound loudly through out the Bible. Even these "lost chapters" have God's laws. We have to realize that everything that is done today has been done before. It is written. We must also realize that we have been given another chance to do it right. Remember that in your day to day activity. Treat your fellow man with honor. As you would him or her you.

Through Me You Will Be Saved

John 10:9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.

When God allowed his son to be sacrificed for mankind, he knew that Jesus would be up against the Jewish Pharisees and the "law". What was so ironic is that Jesus was Jewish and his mission was to include everyone Jews and Gentiles alike to be able to learn of God and his ways. For the Gentiles to be able to go to heaven as well. You see the Pharisees could not argue, though they put up a good fight that Jesus was not fulfilling of the "requirement" presented by God himself to be of Jewish descent and circumcised and follow the law as stated by God. Jesus was all of this and more. He made it clear that through him everyone will be saved. Believe me when I say they (the Pharisees) tried every thing to prove Jesus wrong.  What they did not fess up to was that they continued a campaign throughout Jesus' life to kill him maybe not by their own hands but they were certainly instigators in the eye of the storm. However in the end they were forgiven for their sins as well as we,by Jesus dying on the cross.

Judge Not That You Be Not Judged

If you read the book of Matthew beginning at chapter 5 and go through 7. You are going to note, that Jesus said pretty much his whole mission and disagreements to the Pharisees in this one of three sermons that he gives throughout his life. As was discerned in church today. God knew all the time what man was going to do, how he was going to handle it and what will become of man. He knew all of this. Man from the beginning turned his back on God. God gave man laws to abide by. He gave them all that they needed to survive. And they still turned away from God. There were 400 years of turmoil before the New Testament picks up from the end of the Old Testament. What the heck was man doing all of this time but digging deeper into a pit. Then the messenger/messiah came. And our souls were saved. And through his blood we continually have the covenant of God upon us. So no do not judge someone else because you are being judged at all times by the most high.

God Stands On His Promises

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever. God is always here for us. We just have to remember to call on him. Even when those times of enemy attack seems so extreme, and some turn to blame God. It is not God who is at fault. It is the enemy. And we allow him room to get a foothold in our lives. We really cannot take this for granite. We cannot go a day without prayer, sacrifice and giving unconditionally from our hearts. God sees all. He has to be reminded of his promises to us at times but he and his angels are always there. So stay in the word. Give praises to our almighty father. Ask for forgiveness and mercy. Thank Jesus for his suffering and dying on the cross for all of mankind. Stay in faith. These are all of the things that we need to do daily at all or any time of day.

Marvelous Are Your Works

The lord God made us in his image, however through the first sin, in the garden of Eden we are and forever will be different. But in the book of Psalms 139 David praises God for making us the way he did. And yes, we are human and we fall down constantly. We still can call on God to see us through. We are his children.

 Psalm 139:14-16
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knowing right well.
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being imperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

They Wondered Blind In The Streets

The only difference today as was yesterday in the spiritual world is that they (unclean) blend in very well with the rest of the lost. And the population is much much larger they are many (legions). So to counter act all of this you really must stay prayed up. Cleaned up. And very close to God. The spiritual realm is a very scary place for those who are not familiar and protected by the blood of Jesus. Lord, don’t let me be just a warrior in Your Kingdom, but let me be a mighty warrior and front line soldier, so that when I see You face to face You will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant; come on in.” Amen.

When It Seems So Tough

There are days for everyone that seem like you are backed against the wall and you feel like everything is coming at you from all directions. This happens to all of us. Myself included. It is a very uncomfortable position to be in. It often times is so trying, it could just have you at melt down stage. And you say to yourself "why am I stressing?"The answer is we are human. What we have to remember is that the enemy comes at you from all directions and uses any and everybody he can. When that is not successful he messes with your health. It is a constant battle. I find my strength(and believe me when I say I am alone physically, no husband, no children at home) in God on my knees praying for God to intercede. It is not easy to deal with this but God has your back 100%. Believe, trust, continue to ask forgiveness and above all never let your faith falter. Psalms 90:17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us--yes, establish the work of our hands.

Spirituality vs Real World Can We Live In Both?

Can we as human beings deal with the worldly things that happen to us as well as the spiritual things that happen to us? The answer is if you believe in God, yes you can. Where most have their downfall is when they don't believe with their hearts and souls. These people go through the motions. They make a feeble attempt to "show their unconditional love" but it is transparent they are no where near that. Those of us that try our very best to know both worlds and pray to God everyday for wisdom and guidance seem to be able to cope much better. The bible is full of stories where man has decided to go at it alone. It hurt God so, and God let them go out on their own. It was disastrous. We need God. We cannot live with out him.

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand

Tomorrow Is Never Promised

There are some that take everyday life for granted. Assuming that they will see the same people tomorrow as they see today. This is so far from true. Tomorrow is never promised. That is why it is so important to love your fellow man in the moment. You cannot go on the understanding that you can put something off today like telling a love one that you do love and appreciate them. Or your mom or dad that you love them even though there are struggles.Time stands still for no one. Appreciate your surroundings. Love your neighbor as you would have them love you. God shows us love everyday. We have to read the signs and realize that if he did not love us we would not be here.
1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

Do Not Think You Are The Only One Who Gets Angry

Psalms 78: 1-72 Talks about how angry God was at the tribes of Jacob and Ephraim. Basically the people of Israel and the surrounding areas with the exception of the Tribe of Judah(David's people). God had given everyone an even playing field. All they had to do was continue to acknowledge God. And know God's laws. Each generation got worst and worst. Worshiping Idols. Being greedy with possessions. They were rebellious. They forgot the commandments. No faith in God. It was a mess. And God got angry, he went" off "as they say. Crops were destroyed. People were attacked by flies, frogs. The first born of every household died. So much was happening the people had to wake up and take notice. God was serious. But after being as angry as he was, God wept and forgave and rebuilt what he had destroyed. He (God) chose David to help rebuild the trust and honor in the people. Teach them to believe in God again. This story shows you that it is something that we all do (get angry). It is how you handle it that is important. Try not to get as angry and hurt as God did, destroying stuff. But know that it is human to feel this way. God regretted what he did and he tried to fix it. The ultimate fix was Jesus dying for all of our sins.

What Ever You Put On The Inside Will Surface On The Outside

Have you ever been sitting in the company of a family member or friend who has a toddler? Everyone breaks out into laughter when the toddler repeats something they heard. It sounds funny and cute. But think about that for a minute. We are creatures of habit. We ingest information, food, medicines etc. What goes into our bodies, minds and souls eventually comes out. God has designed the human body to have a great filtration system. However our minds and souls are dependent on us. We have choice, that is our filter. We truly see the results of this society in this day and age without hardly any "filters" in place to keep negativity, immorality, and sin out of lives.  The writing of the Bible and other ancient text, give us the rules to keep our souls from going to hell. We must do better about spreading the stories, concepts, etc to the lost.
Jeremiah 50:6
My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.

Home Is Where The Heart Is

To understand life as it is meant to be one must follow the heart. God designed us so that our survival is based on our mind power.  Our souls are designed for belief and faith. But our hearts are designed for passion. For love. For charity. For forgiveness. And yes, home is where the heart is. Although Jesus seemed harsh on the people and his disciples he really wasn't it's just that his heart was into everything that he did. He felt compassion, passion, love, for his fellow man.
Micah 6:8
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Can Faith Truly Be As Small As A Mustard Seed

Yes faith can be as small as a mustard seed. And a mustard seed is very small. The key is that it is faith that we are speaking about. Without believing in God what is there? God is the creator. He designed everything that we know. Now there are some who question all aspects of creation. All I can say is Oh well. Faith in God and Jesus is so crucial. Again to many it is not. I cannot speak for them. All I do know is that the Bible was written about times over 3000 years ago. And man has not changed much since.
Matthew 17:20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

No Matter How Much Was Proven They Still Doubted

Through out the Bible, story after story you see so many doubting that God could do what he could do. Although Jesus proved time after time what he could do he was still doubted by so many including his disciples. Why was that? Why is that? I mean miracles were proven before many a witness. Demons recognized his (Jesus') power. But man still doubted. My conclusion is this, no matter how much you show someone something, unless they accept it in their mind, body and soul, doubt just keeps on keeping on. Faith is but the size of a mustard seed. You have to have faith that no matter what, God has you. No matter what you go through there is something that you should take away from that experience to build on.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Man Cannot Live By Bread Alone

In this day and time many think that what they do in life does not require sustenance. "If I give that is good enough" No it is not. God wants a cheerful giver(one that gives from the heart). If it were to be all humankind had to do was grow food, eat it and be satisfied. No life investment required. But God gave most of us hearts and souls. Both have the emotion that allows man to feel. It is a requirement to feel compelled to give from the heart. To make the last first. To love unconditionally. Seems simple enough. But it is most difficult for some of us. As studies have shown (theological) the curse that was bestowed on mankind from Adam and Eve exudes the principles of vanity, selfishness, greed. These are sins that are overlooked when it comes to today's world. But one must be cautious. Man cannot live by bread alone. Through Jesus our sins have been forgiven ,we must be thankful and humble. We need to take the I and me out of our daily lives.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful! It is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerned of the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

It Is So Nice To Be Healed

In the bible you see many a circumstance where Jesus or his disciples have laid hands on someone and either cast the demon out of them or healed them of their sickness directly. But of course they had their critics for doing so.

Luke 13:10-15
On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues,  and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all.  When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.”  Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, the synagogue leader said to the people, “There are six days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath. The Lord answered him, "You hypocrites! Doesn't each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water?

Keep Your Fathers Commands

The book of Proverbs in the Bible was written by King Solomon who was said to be the wisest of all Kings in the Bible wrote these things that give us insight as to what is expected of us and what God truly disliked about men and women.

Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things  the Lord hates: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:  A proud look. A lying tongue. Hands that shed innocent blood. A heart that devises wicked imaginations Feet that are swift in running to mischief. A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren.

Jesus Cleared Our Slates

There are many who walk around with "things" hanging around their necks like a 200 lb weight.  Many do not realize how much wear and tear on the mind, body and soul this is. I myself had to come to realize that if I wanted to live the rest of my life in peace, I had to let go of the past. I had to realize that God provided a way for all of us to do this. Jesus walked this earth teaching men and women how to be better persons. How to live a life free of burden, free of guilt, free of pain. Imagine what Peter felt the night they took Jesus away. During their supper (Jesus and his disciples including Mary Magdelan) Jesus leaned over and told Peter Matthew 26:34 I tell you the truth, "this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times." Of course Peter thought and said no I won't. But he did. And guilt and shame haunted him until Jesus came back to visit them. He forgave Peter and he(Peter) was finally able to let go of all that he was feeling. Jesus is the light, he died for all of our sins. We have to let go and live the Godly life the best we can in honor of him.
