John 10:9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.
When God allowed his son to be sacrificed for mankind, he knew that Jesus would be up against the Jewish Pharisees and the "law". What was so ironic is that Jesus was Jewish and his mission was to include everyone Jews and Gentiles alike to be able to learn of God and his ways. For the Gentiles to be able to go to heaven as well. You see the Pharisees could not argue, though they put up a good fight that Jesus was not fulfilling of the "requirement" presented by God himself to be of Jewish descent and circumcised and follow the law as stated by God. Jesus was all of this and more. He made it clear that through him everyone will be saved. Believe me when I say they (the Pharisees) tried every thing to prove Jesus wrong. What they did not fess up to was that they continued a campaign throughout Jesus' life to kill him maybe not by their own hands but they were certainly instigators in the eye of the storm. However in the end they were forgiven for their sins as well as we,by Jesus dying on the cross.
