Anyone Can Change

 “I have worked much harder,” he insisted, “been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again” 2 Corinthians 11:23.
Most of us would not have survived any of the above scenarios. But Paul dedicated his life in what he believed. His conversion to a child of God was enormous. He worked himself to death for God. His mission was to tell the world of God. He had the undaunted task, of convincing people who had no clue who Jesus was or who God was. What a gigormous mission. But he did it and his letters to the churches are the best examples of his work. But before he was the man he was in the end, this is what happened to him. Which proves that God has his hands on us and we have no idea, his plans for us. Anyone can change.

Acts 9:1-10
But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the "Way," men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.  Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him. And falling to the ground he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”  And he said, “Who are you?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.  But rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do. The men who were traveling with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one. Saul rose from the ground, and although his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. So they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.  And for three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

It's Actutally A Matter Of What We Will Give Up

Sometimes in life you literally have to sleep on it to wake up with the true understanding of what is happening. If you ponder too hard in the negative, you miss the point entirely.
Suppose you were accustomed to having a roof over your head? Food in your refrigerator, and cupboards. Clothes, a car, a job. All the creature things of life. And one day or shall I say progressively these things fade away. You were reduced to nothing. You did not have soap to wash with. You had no running water. You had to walk to where ever you were going. You were forced to infringe on someone else's space. You hang your head in despair. Your first reaction is to blame something or someone. You begin to wish and hope on a prayer that this all would turn around soon. Then you ask God why? You contemplate the answers. You ask God what is the lesson here? What is it that you want me to see? What can I learn from this? After many days, months sometimes years, the answer appears to you. And that answer is like that of no one else. It is the answer meant for you and only you. It is however, something that you have read before. Been told before. Seen before. It is confirmed for you right before your eyes. And never again will you look at these things the same. You find your purpose and you cast aside these "things" and their value. You put your value in God. He is your provider, but one must give up self and all things surrounding self to know God almighty in his purity. Amen!
Philippians 3:7-8 But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.

Blessed And Highly Favored

It is not easy going through life, with the way things are today. There were times I suppose in the distant past when you worked hard, paid your fair share and acknowledged your fellow man, that you got by fine without struggling. That no longer applies. Now it seems that you just get by. You are grateful for what you have. You still work hard. And you are but a foot away from being homeless and or penniless. To avoid that detriment you do rob Peter to pay Paul. There is really no extra. And then you see the greediness around you. It pays not to watch. You really have to pray to God. And realize the sin that surrounds it all. God knows our intention. He knows our struggle. And we are no different then those written about in the Bible. Our faith is what keeps us in good standings. The world has tried to take away every moral rule there is in order for our civilization to survive. And replaced those morals with nothing. There is tremendous evil out there. We have to know Jesus. We have to know God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

It Really Cost Nothing To Believe

There are some, who think to believe and to be accepted by God you must go through rituals, pomp and circumstance. This is so far from what is true. As a matter of fact that is one of many revolutionary things Jesus challenged of the "church" in his time. Who and what said that you have to be part of any of that to enter the kingdom. Nothing. The church is the figurative body of Christ. The whole purpose of Jesus and his disciples was to spread the word to everyone worshiping idols, performing sacrifices, pagan stuff. God requires  faith  and goodness of the heart.  Rest assured that any man women or child can worship the same God the same way. Period. Jesus knew he was going to be the ultimate sacrifice for all of mankind. Therefore the old ways were nullified. Through Jesus acceptance of him us lowly sinners will make our way to heaven.
John 1:3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

By Wisdom A House Is Built

It is too often mankind takes for granted life. There are some that assume they are in control of everything. And when an event is not explained and or controlled, why then it is "nature" which can be explained  of course by science. I am a firm believer that there are forces out of our control. That God created the heavens and earth and that we have guidelines by which to live. This in turn, with our faith and prayer through Jesus Christ will be our saving grace.We don't have a clock that tells us when our time is up on this planet. But we do know what it takes to keep God in our hearts. We know that if we treat our fellow man with the same respect we expect we are doing the right thing. Yes, we have to pray for wisdom and understanding. As well as  praying for forgiveness for our sins. We may even have to protect our families at some cost. However our intention is what God looks at. Are we evil and deceitful? Are we not willing to be humble and except our faults?
Proverbs 24:1-7
 Do not envy wicked men, do not desire their company; for their hearts plot violence, and their lips talk about making trouble. By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.  A wise man has great power, and a man of knowledge increases strength;  for waging war you need guidance, and for victory many advisers. Wisdom is too high for a fool; in the assembly at the gate he has nothing to say.

He Who Has A Generous Eye Will Be Blessed

Proverbs 22: 9-12

He who is generous will be blessed,
For he gives some of his food to the poor.
Drive out the scoffer, and contention will go out,
Even strife and dishonor will cease.
He who loves purity of heart
And whose speech is gracious, the king is his friend.
 The eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge
But He overthrows the words of the treacherous man.

Today's world is not much different at all from ancient times. Sure we have technology. And yes, we are able to live much more comfortably. However the treatment of man of each other is recognizably the same. As the proverb says and really really drives home, is the treatment of one's who are struggling. Solomon says: "The man or women who gives generously will be blessed. Share what ever you have." The ill mannered, selfish must be driven away. These things God sees, and he(the lord) will take care of it.

Gods Standard Of Measurement

Imagine being a father to a large family. Imagine that things are always busy. There is some form of activity going always. You being the father want to see your children with the best. You constantly offer advise. You lead by example. You do everything in your power, to make you children see the pitfalls of life. You try explaining how by following this measure or that measure. That if these things are followed, life will go a lot smoother   Through the busy and chaotic times of the family dynamic, you as the father get the impression no one is listening. Things aren't going as smoothly as they should. Do you speak louder, to get their attention? Do you let them fall down one or two of those pitfalls to learn their lessons? Do you as a father get so frustrated you punish the children for not listening? Or do you find another strategy to say the same things? Would you bring in someone else to teach the same things you tried to? Someone who can let them know that through all, you still love them after all they are your family? The answer is yes, yes you would. You could not continue any harshness or ill feelings towards them, because they did not listen. You love them too much. There is a calmness and a peace when we know God as our father and that through Jesus Christ we are saved. Our sins are forgiven. By staying in faith, giving from our hearts unconditionally we make our father in heaven smile down on us.

Phil:4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Come With Me

Matthew 4:19 Come, follow me, Jesus said, and I will make you fishers of men.
How many of us would have faith enough to leave our material things, things that we have worked for all of our life behind to follow someone we did not know? The answer: hardly anyone. We have become so materialistic, so selfish that giving self is not an option to many. Giving self means to put someone else first without judgement. Without hesitation. Having faith that all is a test in the eyes of God. What ever you give you will get it back ten times over. We and I surely include myself here. We must give as first nature. Not second. Not third. We must put ourselves in the other persons shoes. We must remain non judgemental. We must forgive. This takes practice for some. Some it comes as the first and foremost. I for one must practice every day. I want it to be first nature for me. Like the disciples, there was no hesitation. They had faith.

There Is No Other

Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Many in the bible thought that John the Baptist was the Messiah. The masses had always heard that the Messiah will come in the form of a man but most envisioned him to come and go in a grand manor. None of which happened. Jesus was born to Mary & Joseph. He had a childhood as most except some records indicate that he did use his Godly power to turn a clay pigeon into a real bird. And caused a bully's mother to die. These are not in the Bible but of written record. Once becoming a man, he taught, he healed and he fed many a man. He died in a suffering manor and took the pain like that of a man. All to symbolize to the world who he was and to whom he made a way for. So says the verse above. Jesus died for our sins. There is no other way man can enter the gates of heaven. We are eternal sinners and God had to have a way for his creation to be accepted through those gates.

Deliver Me From My Enemies

Psalm 59:1-6
Deliver me from my enemies, O God; protect me from those who rise up against me.  Deliver me from evildoers and save me from bloodthirsty men. See how they lie in wait for me. Fierce men conspire against me for no offense or sin of mine, O LORD.  I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Arise to help me; look on my plight! O LORD God Almighty, the God of Israel, rouse yourself to punish all the nations; show no mercy to wicked traitors. Selah They return at evening, snarling like dogs, and prowl about the city.
On this day in this country we celebrate the life of a revolutionary. A man who gave his life for what he stood for. Equality for all people. The above passage was written by another revolutionary, who had been hunted down because he to was for the people and was to be the leader of a nation. We still fight today to make all men and women to be treated justly. It is a struggle that continues.

The Kingdom

Have you ever stood next to someone and gave them a quick glance and at that very moment passed judgement on them? Guilty! All of us have. We seem to be hard wired to do so. Unless your heart comes clean, and you train yourself not to do so it continues. You never know what your fellow man is or has gone through. Walking a mile in their shoes would definitely change one's mind. When we look at the days of Jesus and watch the manner in which he treated people, you never see or hear judgement except towards the hypocrites and really he called them out on their harsh judgement of others.
In order to enter the kingdom of God we must change our ways.
Matthew 7:1-11
 Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?  Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him?

God's Windows Of Opportunity

Does it seem that we become routine in everything we do? Even when it comes to praising, excepting, executing, God's word? For some it has. God gives us ample opportunity to become one with him. For us to develop a personal relationship with him. When our times are high we should thank God.  Acknowledge him. Do not wait until something goes wrong. Imagine telling your loved one, "You know I just wanted to tell you I love you, you mean so much to me" God wants to hear that as well. It is okay to call on God in your time of need, that is what he is there for. No doubt. God is there all the time through thick and thin. Through the good and the bad.

Phillippians 1:3 Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.

Trust In The Lord With All Your Heart

 Proverbs 3:5-6
 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
 And lean not on your own understanding
 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
 And He shall direct your path.
How many of us truly adhere to these verses? We tend to question. We tend to pick the ball up and run with it. We try taking control. When what we should do is wait. Be patient. Our confidence and faith should be so that we question nothing. Our immediate answer or concern to anything should be the belief "I know God has this". Pray for wisdom and understanding always. Forgive those that trespass against you. Know in your heart that God's plan is way bigger then you could ever imagine. When that plan comes to fruition, give thanks because God once again has proven how awesome he truly is.

Peaks And Valleys

If you are a reader of the bible, you notice something about Jesus. He challenged all that surrounded him. He constantly taught, healed, led, scolded. But on his "down " time. The time when he was alone. The time when he just needed some space. He prayed. And he prayed extensively. We in our busy world can definitely take a cue. In our down time we need to meditate on the Lord. There is no other way that peace will rack up rewards as to praying to our almighty God.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
—Romans 5:1-2

One Day We Will Be Seen

As we study history. As we read ancient text. As we study social behavior. We must realize that someone will be studying us as a culture during their history class one day. We will have a legacy as did the Jews, and Gentiles of old. It is difficult to imagine the things that we do today make a definite impact on our history and this civilizations outcome. If we take a look at the Old Testament of the Bible you get the distinct  feeling that all that was written took place over a long long period of time. Whereas the New Testament time seem so much shorter. The point is, we must live our lives with the good grace of God on our minds at all times. We would want our legacy to be that of good and decent people. However there are those that will not fit that mold nor do they wish to. God gives us the guidelines. Jesus reiterated those guidelines. It is left up to us to live within them.

1 Chronicles 16:11
Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.

Psalm 25:9
He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.

Psalm 25:12
Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.

Psalm 31:3
Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.

Psalm 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.

The Fruitful Yard

There are many times when selfish rather then selfless plays a major role in ones life. It is a struggle many of us have. Some to the extreme. Some being selfish plays almost no role in their lives.  It is a Godly spirit that walks with this inside and shows it on the outside. Talk is cheap. But walking the walk and talking the talk is the proof in the pudding. There are some who take it lightly, not understanding the impact selfishness has on the ethos. Words, actions. The tongue. Body language can be positive and in just that and that alone, selfishness melts away and selflessness takes its place. Work on it. Stick with it. Find people who encourage. Seek out those who just want to see the best for you. Those who when you walk away gives you something for your betterment. Those with no agenda other then seeing you be the best you could be.
2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Silencing The Hypocrite

If you read Matthew chapter 23 you will find some of the most harsh words Jesus has said. His teaching of the Jews and Gentiles were questioned by the preachers of the day. They were always trying to pit his teachings up against their laws from God handed down through the ages. In Matthew 23 Jesus speaks of the preachers who love the church, the money, the fame. He talks about the church looking good on the outside and to the public, but is the congregation really getting fed the true meaning of Gods word? He talks of white washed tombs with dried bones inside. All of these reference "churches, preachers, teachers etc" that are all about the show. The meaning of God's expectations are thrown out to the audience but how many preachers, teachers and churches are living the life they preach upon? That is Jesus stance. By no means was he(Jesus) going against Gods written law. He just called out the hypocrites who played the role. Most of Jesus verses in this text begin with "Woe to you Scribes, Pharisees. Woe to you blind guides.  All applicable to today's environments as well.

The Serenity Prayer

This is a prayer that truly hits home on so many things. It is definitly one to pray as often as possible. When praying, pause and listen to each word. Absorb the meaning. Live a good of a life as possible. With God there is no limits to that. Remember that.

Confessing To God And Forgivness From Him

It is one thing to admit that you are wrong about something. It is something else to confess a sin to being a down to the heart & soul sin. The main reason for  confessing is to hear it spoken to God, to self and to someone that you can trust. What is this you ask and why? The answer: To show how humble and naked you can be before God. To rid yourself of guilt and shame. After all Jesus died on the cross as the human sacrifice for all of mankind. We should not carry that burden. Matthew 5:8 Happy are the pure at heart. We need to be comfortable knowing that we are going to sin. This is not to say to go out and intentionally do so. But that we are human. Let God know that we know that we have made a mistake and that we have trouble with that. We need to be able to willingly ask for strength so that it does not keep happening. And most importantly forgiving oneself. That takes away the pain and agony. Believe this pain and agony  come in various degrees. Depression. Addiction, Violence, Suicide.
Psalm 27:8 My heart says of you seek his face, Oh Lord your face shall I seek.

Hold On To Instruction Do Not Let It Go

Proverbs 4:5-9 Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget these words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;  love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom.Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown.

The Lord Will Fight For You You Have Only To Be Silent

Micah 7:8 Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.

There are many times in life when disappointment arrives on your doorstep. You want to be reactionary. However you cannot. You must sit still. This is a time when you reach up and out and call out to those angels awaiting . Send for them. They are just waiting to be asked to come, lift you up. Carry you away from that pain. We approach life with passion most of us do. When that part of you is exercised it is the giving of oneself that shows God and the world your heart. Disappointment takes a stab at that, your heart. Be encouraged. Be faithful. Look not to man for the answers. Look to God always.

Giving Of One's Self

I am beginning to believe that giving of one's self is a lot harder for some then I had originally thought. I shake my head in disgust when disclosure of this one or that one who was held high for their values falls from grace. A much respected figure. But the foolery and trickery is on those of us who fail to realize that falling from grace is normal. That unless you give up one's self to the almighty God you do not have a support system in place to sustain you. The enemy is so full of lies and deception. Some turn a blinds eye and they fall for the emptiness. The absolute traps and pitfalls in place for them. God is almighty, there should be no question. He and only he is whom we should fear. Faith in God must be first and foremost. No other should come before God not even one's self.

Matthew 6:19-21 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust[a] destroy and where thieves break in and steal,  but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

A Prayer

The Lord is my light and my salvation
    whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life
    of whom shall I be afraid?
 When the wicked advance against me
    to slander me,
it is my enemies and my foes
    who will stumble and fall.
 Though an army besiege me,
    my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
    even then I will be confident.
 One thing I ask from the Lord,
    this only do I seek:
 that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
    all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
    and to seek him in his temple.
 For in the day of trouble
    he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent
    and set me high upon a rock.
 Then my head will be exalted
    above the enemies who surround me;
at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy;
    I will sing and make music to the Lord.
 Hear my voice when I call, Lord;
    be merciful to me and answer me.
 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!”
    Your face, Lord, I will seek.
 Do not hide your face from me,
    do not turn your servant away in anger;
    you have been my helper.
Do not reject me or forsake me,
    God my Savior.
Though my father and mother forsake me,
    the Lord will receive me.
 Teach me your way, Lord;
    lead me in a straight path
    because of my oppressors.
 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,
    for false witnesses rise up against me,
    spouting malicious accusations.
 I remain confident of this:
    I will see the goodness of the Lord
    in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
    be strong and take heart
    and wait for the Lord.

Where Is Your Faith?

We question God's plan all the time. Why? Must we control and see everything? The answer is No. When that doubt appears or seems to be nagging in the back of your mind, stop think, review your blessings. If you are doing Gods work (which you should be doing everyday) do it with more intensity. You may need to get down on your hands and knees and literally repeat "God I know you have this." And" God I know all that has happened and all that will happen is in your plan." Repeat, repeat, repeat.

James 2:20-24 Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless?  Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar?  You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works. The Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness and he was called a friend of God. You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.

Follow Me And I Will Make You Fishers Of Men

While watching a nature show, it was noted that the unusual behavior of sharks off the shores of Egypt befuddled the locals. It appeared that shark attacks were on the rise at a beach resort. Scientist were called in to determine the reason why this was happening. It turns out that diving expeditions (the ones tourist go on) were hand feeding the local shark population to get photo ops for the tourist. Well it turns out that the sharks watched and got used to the diver pulling the fish from his back"pocket" and actually extending the fish in his hand. Hence feeding time. It was also noted that the children and adults wading in the shallows of the beach fed the local schools of fish bread and crackers to get the schools of fish up close and personal. Scientist discovered that the warmth of the ocean (increased by climate change) accentuates the sharks metabolism. The shark thought that anyone swimming near these schools of fish should have a treat for them as well. Hence shark attacks. My point. When greed and opportunity presents itself in the negative fashion that it does, it normally turns to bite you in the posterior.  When Jesus found the brothers near the shore fishing, and the calling was placed upon them, they went. They did ask Jesus," but what of our life's work?"

Matthew 4:19 - And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. These men sacrificed for the greater good.

A Troubled Soul Saving Grace Is It Possible?

When the word of God was spread to Jews and Gentiles. There was much resistance. Religion was nowhere the institution it is today. In its infancy the Christ following was not popular. As a matter of fact it was something revolutionary to include the common everyday man,woman and child. The challenge was converting the generations of the belief system. There were so many paganistic rituals. Some are in some "religions" today. The fact that Jesus was nearly stoned many a time. That Paul suffered in prison. That John was beheaded. and on and on. Satan by way of possession had to be "exercised" out of many.
Mark 5: 6-13 Seeing Jesus from a distance, he ran up and bowed down before Him;7and shouting with a loud voice, he said, “What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God, do not torment me!”8For He had been saying to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!”9And He was asking him, “What is your name?” And he said to Him, “My name is Legion; for we are many.”10And he began to implore Him earnestly not to send them out of the country.11Now there was a large herd of swine feeding nearby on the mountain.12The demons implored Him, saying, “Send us into the swine so that we may enter them.”13Jesus gave them permission. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they were drowned in the sea.

Answer Me Quickly Oh Lord

A prayer of Davids. A prayer well deserved of our voice as well

Psalms 143

Lord, hear my prayer,
    listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
    come to my relief.
 Do not bring your servant into judgment,
    for no one living is righteous before you.
 The enemy pursues me,
    he crushes me to the ground;
he makes me dwell in the darkness
    like those long dead.
 So my spirit grows faint within me;
    my heart within me is dismayed.
I remember the days of long ago;
    I meditate on all your works
    and consider what your hands have done.
 I spread out my hands to you;
    I thirst for you like a parched land.[a]
 Answer me quickly, Lord;
    my spirit fails.
Do not hide your face from me
    or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
    for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
    for to you I entrust my life.
Rescue me from my enemies, Lord,
    for I hide myself in you.
Teach me to do your will,
    for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
    lead me on level ground.
 For your name’s sake, Lord, preserve my life;
    in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble.
In your unfailing love, silence my enemies;
    destroy all my foes,
    for I am your servant.

Lord Lift Us Up

Proverbs 29:23 A man's pride brings him low, but a man of lowly spirit gains honor.

God gives us so many opportunities to get it right. To let go of the past. To get past the shame. To gain wisdom and understanding. It is up to us to pick up the pieces, except, honor and continue on. Knowing that God sees our hearts. Let no deviation block the blessings that God has for you. After all God can literally move mountains, part seas and provide you with all the means necessary to make your way through life and then some.

Sign Language

At the first sign of breathing air outside of the mothers womb the infant gasp for air, opening up his or her lungs to breathe without being connected to mom. As the baby grows beginning from the first days until that child is able to take care of himself, the baby takes signs and ques from the parent. These tools can be verbal or non verbal. An example can be taken from the babies first step. The parent sits a little ways from the baby and puts their hands out so that the baby can reach for and grab onto if necessary.

So are the beginnings of a God filled life. You begin with baby steps. You have to keep in mine God is there with his hands reaching out. For you to call on him to avoid any missteps or falls. And when and if you do, he like a parent is there to pick you up.

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go
