Gods Standard Of Measurement

Imagine being a father to a large family. Imagine that things are always busy. There is some form of activity going always. You being the father want to see your children with the best. You constantly offer advise. You lead by example. You do everything in your power, to make you children see the pitfalls of life. You try explaining how by following this measure or that measure. That if these things are followed, life will go a lot smoother   Through the busy and chaotic times of the family dynamic, you as the father get the impression no one is listening. Things aren't going as smoothly as they should. Do you speak louder, to get their attention? Do you let them fall down one or two of those pitfalls to learn their lessons? Do you as a father get so frustrated you punish the children for not listening? Or do you find another strategy to say the same things? Would you bring in someone else to teach the same things you tried to? Someone who can let them know that through all, you still love them after all they are your family? The answer is yes, yes you would. You could not continue any harshness or ill feelings towards them, because they did not listen. You love them too much. There is a calmness and a peace when we know God as our father and that through Jesus Christ we are saved. Our sins are forgiven. By staying in faith, giving from our hearts unconditionally we make our father in heaven smile down on us.

Phil:4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
