There is absolutely nothing wrong with giving a gift to someone in need. Or to someone just because paying it forward is the right thing to do. A book, a kind word. Lessons and experiences in life. All can be of value to a person. It is all a matter of how you present it. As we reach our mature time in life. We have to take a look back at our lives as young people. How many times did we hear our parents or grandparents say " you know back in my day I used to....." And your response even if it weren't said out loud, "yeah that was back in your day". Young people today feel the same way, however we must not feel discouraged. We just have to be creative in our explanations. Give them the benefit of the doubt. Treat them with respect as you would expect them to treat you. Our children are our future. We must guide, propel, and excite them into thinking outside of the box. Teach them morals, that prayer changes things. That there is nothing wrong with believing in the Lord our God. Continue to be encouraging. Live, Laugh and Love.
