Honor In Death

Some may think that the death of a rebel is a cause worth dying for. Most seem to think long after that person is gone, about how honorable it was for this person to have ran amidst with his or her cause. There is nothing pretty about life as we know it ending. Weather it be from illness. Weather it be by the hands of another. Weather it be from natural causes. But the death most memorable to is the rebels. Jesus was surely a rebel of his time. He was despised by the powers to be. He was not famous during his life time. He had an entourage that believed in him most of the time. Until the soldiers came for him, then they cowardly acted as if they did not know him. He died a tortuous death. Was he remembered? Yes. And his honor restored.
1Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit
