Thank You My Son

Imagine growing up in the shadows of an older sibling. All the while thinking the light always shined on him or her. It is good or comfortable, growing up thinking you are always being compared to someone else. That no one recognizes you for who and what you are. Keep in mind God has our steps ordered and your light is always shining. You may not feel that. You may see grandparents, aunts, uncles giving others praise and glory, why not you? God had a different plan. You took the bumps and bruises through life and came out on top. Better then you ever thought to be. Not because you were compared to someone else. Not because you were shunned. No your light shines because of all of that. Your heart is humble. You give because you were not given to. You love because you felt unloved. You have let go and let God. And it is only him not man that says and shows you, son well done. You are gracious for that and God knows it. Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
