I Belong To You

To be blessed and to know where ones blessings come from is a good thing. To be humble and accept those blessings is a great thing. But when you receive blessings and you then pass them on that is an awesome thing. That is what God wants for all of us. Yes, it is that basic. We all live very busy and complicated lives. It is true, however the script written for our spiritual needs has not been replaced in over three thousand years. The manual that explains our very existence is been within our grasp for a long long time. It is our choice to believe, to follow, and to execute the teachings that are in it. It is up to us to realize what tremendous sacrifice was made on our behalf. If we compared our lives and the minuscule things in it to the lives led long ago. We pale in comparison. We live in a society that doesn't work hard. Unless one chooses to. The choice is ours. We are children of the most high. We should live and work hard to maintain that balance. Our guide is right there before us.

Matthew 7:7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Shared Posterity

It is definitely written in the history of the world that teaching our young is what was done in order to maintain mankind's existence on this earth. What has happened of late (over time) is man has relied solely on artificial intelligence to support and maintain his or her existence. However, you will find small pockets of people who still pass down living requirements to exist co-habitually with nature on this planet. Spirituality of this time mirror society as well. Ministers, and preachers do not have to so much worry about a physical church as opposed to buying television time to get their message across these days. There was a time when the church reached out to help individual families. Supported them in their time of need. It is more a business now. People have to flock to the kitchens and halls to receive anything given. What of the sick and shut in? The sheer vanity, greed and sin still remain in the "temple". Those of us who believe in the power of God must pass it on to the next generation. We have to compete with the media sources of the day or not. Taking the family on an outing just talking, explaining nature is a start. We must teach the young or we will be the last of a dying breed.

Deuteronomy: 11:19 You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise

Reflection, Guidance And Trust

Alone time for many is a good thing. It gives one time to think. To weigh things. To get closer to God. These things are normal for most. There are those however who are very afraid of alone time. To not have something going or to be doing something to keep their mind off of what ever is bothering them scares them to death. This is a time when people turn to drugs, alcohol and destructive behavior. We have to pray for them. We have to ask God for them to provide a healing. To give them guidance. We must pray that they learn to trust God. That he and only he can take the pain away. It is very difficult to watch a loved one or friend go through this. And until they decide they want to do for themselves all we can do is pray.
Isaiah 41:10  fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

The Ascension, The Return, The Doubter

There is a term that has been passed down through generations and it usually pertains to someone who doesn't believe something until he or she sees it for themselves. They call this person  a "doubting Thomas". When Mary Magdalene saw Jesus, he gave her instructions to go tell the others that he has to ascend to the heavens, but he will come back. And this was all a part of what was to be. This is the season that we are in. Easter is surrounded by commercial entities, yes but the real reason for celebration is the return of Jesus Christ. Who proved once again that he is who he says he is. Even to the doubters.

John 20:1-30

She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).

17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

18 Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.

19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.

21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

24 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”

But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31 But these are written that you may believe[b] that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

The Collection

When the word collection is mentioned several connotations come to mind. Tax collection, Church collection, Antique collection, Book collection, Gun collection. The list can go on and on. When we do mention this word how many think Prayer collection? Faith collection? Thankfulness collection? Forgiveness collection?Giving of oneself collection? No these things are not something that comes to most peoples mind when they think of collection. God gave us guidelines to follow. God gave us his son who taught those same guidelines. It is up to us to pull from the correct collection. The Bible is a good start. It is filled with collection. Trust, forgive, have faith, do the right thing. A collection worth putting on any mantle piece.

Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, evenwhen we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved.

To Each His Or Her Own

To be a part of living testimony is deserving of a medal of honor. Going through the fire, coming out with grace and mercy is a feat. How do you know when this has been done? Take a good long look at the things that have happened. Ask yourself, could a person go through the pain and agony. The hurt, the suffering by themselves without breaking completely? The answer is no. Unless God has his hands on you. Weather you are aware at the time or not. An average person would not survive. When you live through "it", God has given you a pass. A time to reflect. A time to testify. A time to have the best relationship in the world with the most high himself. A time to say Jesus through you and your death I am surrendering myself as did you. God will you except me as I am? The whispered answer is "Child I already have".
Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.

Changing Times

It seems that history tends to repeat itself, more often then none. It is the elders of  generations that pass on the lore, legacies and traditions of the family. In our time however, there seems to be a disregard for our older generation. No longer is it normal to care for the elderly. Many rely on institutions or someone else other then themselves. It is relevant to say there are still some who have been taught well and are responsible. To know that a family member was at one time as young and vigorous as anyone. That there is a history there. A fascinating one if one took time to see or listen. Once a person gets grey with age. Or sick from frailness and disease, it does not mean that person has lost value. It simply means the body is preparing to leave this earth. It is up to us to have that person leave this earth with the dignity that they deserve.

Leviticus 19:32
You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man {and women}, and you shall fear your God: I am the Lord.

Recognizing Darkness

There are many in the world today who live in total darkness. Not the darkness that happens when the sun goes down. Or the kind of darkness on a moon less night. No, the kind of darkness described here comes from within. The absence of soul. The incapability of empathy. The easiness of doing wrong with no regret. That is darkness. In the book of Matthew Jesus is walking through the streets and demons recognize him. He (Jesus) acknowledges them as well.

Matthew 8:28-32

When He arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met Him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water.
It is a must that we recognize darkness. It is sometimes disguised as shade, a little grey. It is all darkness. Call on GOD, loudly. Ask the angels to intercede. Darkness is not to be taken lightly. Follow the path with light. Be drawn to it.

John 1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

Be Still

It is the norm to hear alot of noise in our present day. So noisy in fact many tune most of it out. This tends to deaden one of the keen senses that God gave us. If we were created not to hear, we would not have the ability to listen with it's(humans) complex  hearing system. So pay attention. God speaks softly. He hears you most assuredly.

Psalm 46:1-11

God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice, the earth melts.
 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
Come, behold the works of the Lord,
how he has brought desolations on the earth.
 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
    he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.
“Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

When Is It Enough?

When is it enough to stop giving of ones self? Never. When is it enough to stop getting the fiery darts thrown at you? It never stops. When is it enough to stop giving God the glory and the praise? Never! You can make life a struggle or you can except that all things have been predestined. Though there are challenges and struggles, your test is to remember and focus on God's messages. Distractions are huge. Sometimes debilitating. Job being the prime character in the Bible to experience the worst distractions of all time. When distractions become a weight in your life, ask yourself. What is it that I need to release from my past? Is there something that I am not doing according to God's will? Then stop, be still, and pray about it. The devil comes through those that are the closest. Those that have weakness. Recognize it. Denounce it. Ask God for favor. Ask God to send his army of angels. Kneel and give God all the glory. Thank and praise him every time you can think about it.
Ephesians 5:20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

How God Has Kept Promises To His Children

In the bible, the temple of God was destroyed and rebuilt three times. The chosen people were made to suffer and wonder for years. Some of the most notable characters of the bible were exposed to some very harsh times. But the most intense lesson, if you will; was that of Jesus Christ. The son of God. In all of these instances there were some form of suffering. However God saw most through. The suffering eventually ended. So yes, God does keep his promises. It may take some time to do so. Or in the case of Jesus, him being the sacrificial lamb for all, the outcome was of epic proportion. We were all saved  because of it (his dying)

II Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory

The Way Of Love

The most notable person after Jesus was a man name Paul. His mission began as a person who despised the followers of this new found "religion". He taunted, and killed people who believed. Until the day his life changed and he was literally brought to his knees. There is much more to that story, see Acts 9. Once converted Saul became Paul and was missioned to spread the gospel (the good news) amongst nations. Here is one of his best letters/speeches to the people of Corinth.

I Corinthians 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.  And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.  For we know in part and we prophesy in part,  but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.  When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

The Lord Lifts Up The Humble

Psalm 147: 3-6
                       God  heals their broken hearts
                       and bandages their wounds.
                       He counts the stars
and knows each of them by name.
Our Lord is great and powerful.
There is no limit to what he knows.
                       The Lord supports the humble,
                       but he shames the wicked.

This Is Not For The Faint Of Heart

Jesus stood up to the highest of high in the church of his day. Imagine a man brought up by parents of the Jewish faith, going against his own religion? That did not go over very well. The common average everyday people were finally recognized and included in this  faith. Jesus had many to convince and many he did. He healed the sick. He put life into the dead, both figuratively and physically. He called out hypocrites. He tore down greed and deception inside the walls of God's temple. Jesus had the heart of a lion and of course he had his father, God himself on his side. Although he was made to suffer at the hands of these leaders of the day, his teachings prevailed. One thing to remember is that Jesus did not have to suffer. He was God's son after all. He had power to do anything. He could have prevented his death and suffering. Many believed if he (Jesus) was the true Messiah, he should not be put to death in the way that he was. This way of thinking proved to be wrong.  Jesus died for mankind to have access to the kingdom of God and to be forgiven for their sins.

II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come

The Lamp Under My Feet

Psalm 119:105 God Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

These verses along with many others gives us an idea as to how and what we have in store for us. All things good are shown in the light. There should never be a question. God's word is leading you along a lighted path. There is no darkness. There is no doubt he is who he says he is. Through Jesus, who is the light of the world. The saviour.  We are guided with the light. Think about it for a minute. God before Jesus, had a direct relationship with his people. He gave them guidance and direction. There wasn't a need for light. He showed us the way. But sin put a dark cloud over the kingdom. No longer could the people see their way. God could not let his creation(the people) destroy themselves. You can believe he thought long and hard on this. He saw the disdain, the destruction, the disrespect. In the end he sent the only thing that could save mankind. Jesus!

On The Wings Of Love

Isaiah 40:31 But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

This is a powerful verse. It breaks down to transferring your hope, keeping your faith. Not getting tired of waiting. Being strong. Trusting. All in the Lord. That is all that is needed in life. When they say wait on him. Do so. God is AWESOME!

When those flames surround you, shake it off. You are a child of God. Own that!

Time Will Tell

Have you ever paused for a moment and had this feeling that what just took place a few moments ago happened the very same way before? Most people have experienced "De'ja'Vu". When we walk through life in tune with our spiritual selves, we experience a host of events in our lives that sometimes seem unexplainable. All we really have to do is refer to Jesus' time on this earth. There were plenty of "unexplainable" things that took place. Those who came in contact with him simply could not rationalize a miracle. Spirituality is not something that should be rationalized either. It is part of our nature. We literally do not control it.  It comes naturally if we let it.Hence the saying "Let Go and Let God". When we are still, with no distraction we allow room for our spiritual sides to manifest. To stretch out if you will. Prayer opens up the "playing field". Allowing a direct line of communication between God and ourselves.

Exodus 29:39 Offer one in the morning and the other at twilight.

Put Your Faith And Trust In The Right Place

Psalm 146:3 Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.

During the time that Christianity was in it's infant stages. One revolutionary man stood up against the hypocrisy of the powerful church figureheads. Imagine what a stir this caused. Not only was he calling out the flaws of the hierarchy he made it known that through him all men & women are welcome into Gods kingdom. The people flocked to hear hope. The way of life for many was a difficult road at best. Not only did Jesus give hope, he taught what it is to have faith. He provided where provision wasn't. He healed the sick and shut in. He showed the power that he had in order for the masses to see that there is none more powerful then God himself. A mighty mighty bold thing to do. He was crucified for doing all of the above. And rose again. Showing the power of God. Trust and believe there is no other who has done and will do for us then God. Through Christ we have been saved.

I Seek Wisdom And Understanding

The dark always comes to light eventually. Relieving some of burdens not meant for them to carry. Testing the faith of others. Yes, darkness and anything in the shadows is meant for harm and destruction. When God blesses you there is no darkness. The light is so bright others including the disdain and vile can see it (the light).

Mark 3:11 And whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.

Though evil hides in darkness, and tries to catch us at our lowest points. We must know that God has the power to chase it (evil) back to the bowels of hell where it belongs. Shout out the name of Jesus. Ask the angels to sound their resounding voices. Pray for peace, wisdom and understanding. Ask God to show you favor. Thank God always.
Let God show his love abundantly. The devil claims so many things, all of no good. Evil will leave you standing alone.

Revelation 12:7 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

So What Do I Do While I Wait?

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

This verse is a classic one. Taken from a chapter filled with wisdom. How though does one maintain their composure? How difficult is it to just wait? Without interfering? More difficult then most know. Many times the test fails because we want to jump in and move things. We panic. We lose patience. We think nope, I cannot wait. I have to do something. This is the critical phase. This is where we have to pray the loudest. Lord I thank and praise you for what you are about to do. Thank you for showing me favor. I praise your name Lord. As we quieten our hearts we can hear that faint whisper. We must remain faithful. Waiting on the Lord may prove to be one of the best things we could ever do. Adhere to Gods plan and no other. It will pay dividends far more then you could ever imagine.

The World And How We See It

The stories in the bible date back centuries. The bible is a copulation of stories handed down by word of mouth, hence the gospel, (the good news) mixed with traditional written Jewish text (the Torah) along with hand written scrolls dating back to biblical times.

It took kings, scholars, and men in the hierarchy of the church to put together the bible as we know it today. Most popular the King James Version. Many stories have been left out. It is one's choice to seek after the chapters that were put aside and intentionally not included for one reason or another. This leading to our generations interpretation of the things that took place over three thousand years ago. Many a movie has attempted to visually depict the bible as written. Some more successful then others. Currently, through collaboration of many, the history channel has put together a 10 week series called The Bible. 2013 Bible story telling is no doubt Hollywood enhanced but it gives a pretty good depiction of what has been written especially for the young ones who need that visual stimulation as opposed to someone standing before them giving their version of the events that took place. Putting ones self in their shoes, this is a fascinating piece to teach with. Gods word is being spread in a contemporary way.  God has no problem with that. As long as the message is being heard and spread.

Mark 16:15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
2 Timothy 3:16 - All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

God The Creator

Our footprint on this earth has reached an unprecedented damaging high. The oceans are filled with all kinds of stuff. Simply walking the beach after a rain storm allowed me to see the results of human trash. It was amazing, to find plastic straws, bottles, needles, disregarded black motor oil and oil bottles, having washed to the shore. The gulls and crows were picking through the plastic candy and potato chip wrappers hoping to find a scrap. Shaking my head, I think back to a simpler time. No plastic containers. No water bottles, no styro foam cups and plates. In biblical times there were things made from the clay of the earth. All things of nature. What has happened? What gives us the right to destroy God's creation? How dare we.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and earth.

The Crowned Jewels

In times like these men and women get swept up in the way of the world. Forgetting their royal places in Gods kingdom. Some are so busy making "a way" for themselves, stepping on, under and over people they fail to see the destruction and havoc they are causing. Gods created us in his image. Men the king of their households. While the women stood by his side creating the jewel to the families crown. Sharing love, kindness, respect for one another. Bringing life into the world with joy and happiness. Teaching and passing on tradition, pride, inheritance. Families grew and used only what was needed to sustain them. Shared where someone fell short. In times like these all of the things God intended has gone mostly by the wayside. There are however those of us who have hope. Who try desperately to live as God would have us to. We have to pray deeply and often. The world is of a Babylonian state. We need Divine intervention.

2 Chronicles 7:12-15

And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself, for a house of sacrifice.

If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among the people; if my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  Now my eyes shall be open, and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place.

Honor and Glory Always

When it is realized that we have no power over anything but ourselves. Life is just a bit easier. We do not control the light nor the dark. We do not control the tides nor do we control the weather. When man decides he wants or thinks he controls something it leads to death, destruction and detriment. So when we let go and let God, our shoulders are lighter. The weight of the world is not upon us. We can breath. The truth is no matter how one perceives it, God and this creation is in his hands.

    Isaiah 43:18-19
    Remember not the former things,
    nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness
    and rivers in the desert

Hope For The Hopeless

Imagine the pain and disparity one faces, when they cannot feed themselves. They go hungry. Imagine if one has no place to perform the basic hygiene. They are dirty and smelly. Imagine if one has no education and lack communication skills. They get ignored. Imagine having mental and physical issues. The get put away in jails, hospitals, or homeless on the street. This describes hopelessness. There is too much of it. Some close their eyes, their doors and their mind to such travesties. God doesn't he knows the strife. He sees the suffering. God has put us here on this earth to show compassion as he does. To be kind. To adhere to his laws as much as we can. Which if we as humans followed, there would be less of the hopelessness so prevailing today.

2 Corinthians 9:7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Seek Ye His Face First

Psalm 27:8 My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, LORD, I will seek.

Powerful few words. In other words. Before you do anything else. Speak to God. Speak your heart. Share with the Lord what is deep down inside. You will find that even though he (God) knows your heart, it is very therapeutic to do so. God loves you. He sent his very own son to teach us the way to the truth and the light. All we have to do is our very best. That is all.

What Is Our Part?

The Christian guidelines are mandated by the Holy Bible. In the world, the guidelines have become blurred. There are none. Sin has become rampant. The human has become desensitized to killing. The killing of man & beast, of the earth, of air and water. No regard at all. Greed has become fashionable. Vanity is an every minute occurrence on everything we come in contact with. Gluttony is common place.  Wrath equals war in countries we have no business in. Sloth equals entitlement without earning anything. Pride well let us look at politics in this country. A sad state of affairs. Envy comes in the form of the western worlds image of the billionaire. The image portrayed from the haves to the have nots. So the have nots can envy the haves ways. Ah yes. What is our part? A rhetorical question. The answer lies within.
Romans 12:2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

In The Form Of Song

King David was a song writer. Some of his words are still as powerful and as beautiful today as they were back then.

  Psalm 18: 1-3
I will love You, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised
So shall I be saved from my enemies

There Are So Many Glass Houses On My Block

Luke 6:42 How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

It can be a challenge to avoid judgement of another. It takes practice to do the opposite. When you hear someone critical of another, you do have to ask the one passing judgement the question "how is it he or she is___?" and you are not?
We are far from being perfect. Sometimes it takes a good listening ear to hear what is truly going on in another. You never know. Refrain from judgement scripture says because you are also being judged.

My God Comes First

Matthew 6:31-33 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, what shall we eat?  Oh Lord I am going to be thirsty what am I going to drink?  What shall we wear? For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

When faced with dilemma. Go first to God. Give it all to him. Do not question;how, what or why. Have faith. God knows your needs. He knows how perplexed you may be. The bible says seek him first. Pray. God has you!

Let It Go Holding On Creates Unhealthiness

Deuteronomy 32:35 It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.
There are times when we as humans want to see something bad happen to bad people. It is in our nature, to want this, as well as wanting to have good things happen for good people. God gave the last test to Job. He and the devil had a wager. That God's good and faithful servant would buckle under tremendous pressure. Pressure that the average man could not sustain. The devil did everything to Job to get him to curse God. It never happened. What Job did learn through this is that judgement is not based on his thoughts and thought processes. God oversees that department. And so it remains today. God handles the ugliness. He sent Jesus to handle the in between. By giving up anger. By forgiving. By going through Jesus who literally took the hurt and pain for all of us, we can relax. We can let go. We can let God.
