The Attacks

Many a believer has come under attack by the enemy. The enemy is crafty. The enemy is a tempter. The enemy does not have your best interest at heart. The enemy will leave you standing in the mire. It is soley up to us to recognize the chaos in its developemental stages. We have to call on God who has the mightest and most powerful army to go to war with this entity. The closer we get to God the more the enemy wants to steer us away. We have to have the strongest faith in God. We have to relinquish all to God and let him fight our battles. The moment we take matters into our own hands, the worse it gets. Prayer is the one thing God hears. He knows our hearts, but to shout out to him. To praise him for all that he's done and all that he's going to do is the ultimate protection.

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:4-7 ESV
