There Is A Need For So Much But Unconditional Love Triumphs Most

If you visit any city in America you can no longer see the once hidden. Poverty stares right back at you. The haves pretend not to see. The have nots are living the stark reality. In the times of Jesus, it was very similar. The poor and enslaved. The rich and celebrated. The times then were chaotic as is now. There were some who believed  better things would come. The believers were few and far between. To complicate things back in those days were the religious leaders who claimed God only served them. This of course was ridiculous. But the masses were subject to punishment etc for worshiping their God. That the regular people of the day were not good enough for God. Fast forward to today. The television evangelist, The pope. The crowning princes of mega churches. See any similarities? God sent Jesus to let all of the fools of the day know that God is for everyone if they so chose and the only thing that one had to do was accept Jesus as their savior. Because in essence he was.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
