Betrayal is a very strong emotional appendage. It is the ultimate let down. Imagine through out your adult life walking from town to town, teaching. Living with threats. Constantly explaining the right way to God, and that right way was a privilege for everyone not just a chosen few. Going up against more then hostile crowds at times. Heck challanged out right from the devil himself. All to end because of betrayal. Such a hurting pain. Jesus endured it all. Which leads one to think and fast forward to today. When betrayal takes place, after one has put their complete trust in another how does one handle that?

Luke 12: 51-53
Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. For from now on in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”

Isaiah 53:12

Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

Romans 5:6

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
