Listen To That Inner Voice: To Your Soul

When someone says they love you unconditionally that means no matter what you do, who you are, what skin you are in the love they have for you cannot be erased.  Mistakes and bad judgements do not take love away. When you look into a persons eyes and see the light, some say it is looking into ones soul. Soul means that spirit part of you. That inner voice that knows and feels things. Intuition is part of the soul many ignore. But when you feel like something isn't quite right, follow the soul/instinct. Its God's tool. One of my favorite stories in the Bible is about a guy named Daniel. He was an average guy. Brown skin, hair kinda twisted (we would call them dreads today). Anyway he had this talent. He was able to use his intuition to interpret dreams for the King. He was the chief advisor to the King. Well the people of the land started getting curious at how the King was able to avoid trouble and fight battles winning every time. Daniel would always tell the King he praised God for all of his(Daniel's) talent. He said to the King, without God none of this would be possible. The King kind of heard him when he said those things and kinda didn't/ Well the people of the land did not believe in God. The King didn't believe in God. They (the people including the king) thought that their idols and false Gods were way more important then Daniels God. The King said to Daniel "Listen you are going to have to worship our idols and gods, the people are demanding this and so am I" Daniel said " wait a minute partner, you been good with what I have been telling you all this time, now you want to change the script?" Daniel said in so many words "ah H___ to the no" My God is all I have and he has gotten me through some tough stuff. You too King, he is who has guided me to advise you. "Whats up with this change of heart?" Daniel asked the King. The King gave Daniel an ultimatum. If you do not worship our gods I have to put you in the dungeon with the lions as punishment. Daniel could not believe this betrayal. He was very sad, busted and disgusted. He prayed to God and asked God to watch out for him while he was going through these changes. The guards threw him in the cell with the lions. And the guards sat outside the door waiting to hear the sounds of Daniel getting ripped to shreds by the lions. After a few minutes they checked on Daniel and could not believe what they were witnessing. Daniel on his knees praying to God and the lions sitting in the background chillin' not thinking about Daniel at all. The guards ran to tell the King. The King came down to the dungeon to witness this for himself. "Wow" the king said. "If this is what your God can do, I am a convert" The king demanded that Daniel be released and never questioned the power of God again.

Daniel 6:16
So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions' den. The king said to Daniel, "May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you
