The Lions Den, The Oven, The Wilderness

There is something to be said about challenges, faith, and mercy.
When Daniel refused to give up his belief in God. The hierarchy put him in a hole with ravaging lions, in hopes they would eat him alive. When Shadrach, Meshach, Abendnego refused to give up God they were thrown in a potters oven. When Jesus sat on a cliff in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights fasting and praying. The devil tempted him with everything to give up God. All of these instances were extreme. God had his hands on each and everyone who experienced such. These people never gave up on God. They went through "hell" and back still having faith to the umpteenth power. That is the same kind of faith we must exhibit.
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
